BS Medical Technology, BS Medical Laboratory Science, or BS Public Health from a recognized school.
Submit all requirements to PRC within the official filing period and ideally at least 2 months before the scheduled exam date. Always follow the dates in the latest PRC exam schedule.
Must be a Filipino citizen or a foreign national whose country allows reciprocity with the Philippines.
Must achieve at least 75% weighted average across all subjects.
A rating below 50% in any of the four major subjects (Clin Chem, Micro-Para, Hema, Blood Banking) is an automatic failure.
You must pass enough subjects so that their combined relative weights reach at least 60% of the total exam weight.
A rating of 70%–74.9% typically qualifies you to register as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), subject to final PRC evaluation.

Traditional paper and pencil, multiple-choice format. Examinees shade their answers on standard PRC answer sheets.

Go to the LERIS portal. Fill out your personal details and upload a recent 2x2 ID photo (white background, with name tag).
Choose "Medical Technology" for the examination type, select your preferred PRC branch, and book an appointment date.
Pay the ₱900 application fee using the available online payment options (PayMaya, GCash, Landbank, etc.).
Print your generated Notice of Admission (NOA). Go to the PRC on your appointment date to submit your physical requirements.
School Uniform. Examinees are strictly required to wear their school uniform per Res. No. 311 dated May 18, 1994.
Notice of Admission (NOA), two or more No. 2 pencils, regular black ballpens with transparent casing (no sign/friction pens), and a non-programmable calculator from the PRC-approved list (per Res. No. 1809-2024).
One (1) long brown envelope and one (1) long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and materials).
Bring packed meals, snacks, sufficient water, medications, and hygiene kits in transparent/clear containers. Examinees cannot leave, and food deliveries (e.g., Grab, Foodpanda) are strictly prohibited.
Strictly NO bags of any kind, books/notes, programmable calculators, or smart devices (cellphones, smartwatches, earbuds, transmitters, and AI eyeglasses like Ray-Ban Meta).
